Mechanical and Thermal Properties of Composite Precast Concrete Sandwich Panels: A Review

چکیده

Precast concrete sandwich panels (PCSPs) are utilized for the external cladding of structures (i.e., residential, and commercial) due to their high thermal efficiency adequate composite action that resist applied loads. PCSPs composed an insulating layer with resistance is mechanically connected concrete. In recent decades, have been a viable alternative fast deployment low fabrication maintenance cost. Furthermore, construction light thin wythes can transfer shear loads has achieved utilization high-performance cementitious composites. As result, engineers prefer building construction. PCSP design use examined guarantee energy efficient, structural integrity, sustainable, comfortable, safe. Hence, this paper reviews expanding knowledge regarding current development mechanical properties components; subsequently, future potential research directions suggested.
