Abstract The load spectrum is a crucial factor for assessing the fatigue reliability of in-service rolling element bearings in transmission systems. For bearing high-speed train gearbox, measurement technique based on strain detection outer ring was used to instrument and determine time histories distributed under different gear meshing conditions. Accordingly, total radial carried by compiled. mean value class interval obtained were found vary non-monotonously with speed torque meshing, which considered be caused vibration shaft cage.
