Mathematical Model for False Codling Moth Control Using Pheromone Traps
نویسندگان
چکیده
False codling moth (FCM) is regarded as the most significant indigenous pest. Over 70 host plants are attacked by larval, many of which horticultural crops with fruit, pods, and berries, such beans, grapes, citrus, capsicum, avocado, guava, pomegranate, ornamental plants. They eat macadamia nuts, cotton, tea, a variety other wild well. Female moths drawn to flower heads well parts plant, making this pest especially problematic on roses grown for cut flowers. Therefore, controlling importance. For more effective control, pheromone traps used capture males attracted artificial pheromone. In study, mathematical model FCM control using trap developed. The model, based biological ecological assumptions, governed an ODE system. coexistence free equilibria determined through theoretical analysis. analysis allows identification threshold values that practical field applications. We show there above global asymptotic stability trivial equilibrium guaranteed. Finally, we demonstrate results numerical experiments.
