AIMS The aims of this study are to evaluate the effectiveness, feasibility and safety Laparoscopy formanaging complicated appendicitis look for postoperative complications as well morbidity, in a tertiarycare hospital.OBJECTIVESTo Laparoscopic Appendicectomy cases Complicated Appendicitis with respect to:1. Mean duration surgical procedure.2. Number days antibiotics given, post operatively.3. Post -operative day-start oral feeds.4. incidence Postoperative morbidity.5. Analgesics required.MATERIALS AND METHODSThis prospective was conducted tertiary care hospital at Ahmedabad on 50 patients who underwentLaparoscopic appendicectomy between June 2022 March 2023CONCLUSIONOur has shown results encouraging use laparoscopic complicatedappendicitis, having found less post- operative morbidity along early start post-operative feeds anddecrease requirement post-op antibiotics.Although method can be technically challenging, but have demonstrated itsfeasibility safety.Although number enrolled is far too small, preliminary show that ourexperiences been encouraging, althoughtechnically demanding, proper technique, it done without much complication.As approach our study, we recommend laparoscopy evenwith appendicitis.
