Integrated Evaluation Methodology for Urban Sustainable Projects

The projects for cities’ development must comply with multiple instances defined according to the sustainability dimensions, i.e. economic, social and environmental ones. Even in light of most demanding international governmental other current provisions climate-change adaptation, initiatives public and/or private interest be evaluated on basis their performance level perspective economic growth, protection well-being. present paper focuses following issues: i) economic-sustainable evaluation urban design-solutions; ii) how carry out integrated evaluations that systematically include aspects while respecting interests involved. use multi-criteria analysis methods if, one hand, contributes achievement commingling among dissimilar semantic-assessment fields, it is characterized by difficulty taking into account all stakeholders able affect intervention priority investment alternatives context. work aims at describing an methodology based, syntactic-operational formalism Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP), and, one, implementation analytical technique a descriptive-participatory type (SWOT + focus group) definition criteria relative weights sustainable projects.
