Electricity markets are currently experiencing a period of rapid change. The intermittent nature renewable energy is disrupting the conventional methods used in operational planning electrical grid, causing shift from day-ahead forecast policy to real-time pricing delivered electric power. A path towards more renewable, robust and intelligent system inevitable but poses many challenges researchers industry. In field process industry, strategies based on demand side response receiving attention could represent partial solution for this challenge.
