Hydrogen injection reduces ammonia nitrogen and changes microbial community composition in aquaculture water

چکیده

The study aimed to investigate the effect of hydrogen on nitrogen and phosphorus removal microbial community composition in aquaculture water. Two groups were designed separated: Group H was charged with D set as control. Water samples collected at 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 days after injection detect not only content total nitrogen, ammonia phosphorus, but also Our findings have demonstrated that 7-days’ treatment could effectively reduce And Day 7, concentration 1.66 times H. Meanwhile, structures water bodies these two significantly different. abundance bacteria such Proteobacteria, Firmicutes, Bacteroidetes, Desulphuri a increased clearly H, which means nitrification denitrification occurred injection. These suggested improve health production be used functional external method protect environment.

Water level changes affect carbon turnover and microbial community composition in lake sediments

Due to climate change, many lakes in Europe will be subject to higher variability of hydrological characteristics in their littoral zones. These different hydrological regimes might affect the use of allochthonous and autochthonous carbon sources. We used sandy sediment microcosms to examine the effects of different hydrological regimes (wet, desiccating, and wet-desiccation cycles) on carbon t...

Seasonal changes in microbial community composition in river water studied using 454-pyrosequencing

The aims of this study were to determine the microbial community in five rivers in the proximity of a city in the Czech Republic using 454-pyrosequencing, as well as to assess seasonal variability over the course of 1 year and to identify the factors influencing the structure of bacterial communities. Samples from five rivers around the city of Brno were obtained during four seasons and analyse...

simulation and experimental studies for prediction mineral scale formation in oil field during mixing of injection and formation water

abstract: mineral scaling in oil and gas production equipment is one of the most important problem that occurs while water injection and it has been recognized to be a major operational problem. the incompatibility between injected and formation waters may result in inorganic scale precipitation in the equipment and reservoir and then reduction of oil production rate and water injection rate. ...

Biomethanation and microbial community changes in a digester treating sludge from a brackish aquaculture recirculation system.

Using a high-salinity-adapted inoculum and a moderate stepwise-increased organic loading rate (OLR), a stable digester performance was achieved in treating sludge from a brackish aquaculture recirculation system. The specific methane yield was distinctly enhanced, reaching 0.203LCH4/gCODadded, compared to literature values (0.140-0.154LCH4/gCODadded) from the salty sludges. OLR adjustment and t...

Changes in land use driven by urbanization impact nitrogen cycling and the microbial community composition in soils

Transition of populations from rural to urban living causes landscape changes and alters the functionality of soil ecosystems. It is unclear how this urbanization disturbs the microbial ecology of soils and how the disruption influences nitrogen cycling. In this study, microbial communities in turfgrass-grown soils from urban and suburban areas around Xiamen City were compared to microbial comm...
