Abstract The influence of the laser fluence on quality percussion-drilled holes was investigated both experimentally and by an analytical model. study reveals that edge drilled microholes depends reaching rear exit hole changes with number pulses applied after breakthrough. minimum must reach hole’s in order to obtain high-quality stainless steel found be 2.8 times ablation threshold.
