The purpose of this study was to analyze the application gyaku-tsuki punch technique training model improve physical readiness and character. design quasi-experimental in form a posttest-only control design. sample 56 which divided into 2 groups, each group consisted 28 people. Karate is sport that requires very good level condition. data collection method used questionnaire measure character variables documentation readiness. analysis inferential with MANOVA. results showed has an impact on both simultaneously partially, can be seen from average value trained greater than exercise without model. Therefore, it recommended as alternative karate
