Gender difference about superficial Fungl infections among immunocompromised patients in Dhi Qar governorate 2021-2022

Superficial fungal infections are caused by many fungi, which can invade various aspects of the human body effect skin, hair, and nails, widely observed in world. Causative agents Candida species, dermatophytes, Malassezia species. This study aims to knowledge gender difference about superficial among immune compromised patients Dhi Qar Governorate. A non-probability (convenience sample) 500 sample were selected throughout use sampling approach. The was conducted six health institutions affiliated Health Department, addition medical clinics governorate. questionnaire as a means for data collection, it consist four parts include demographic data, diseases that weaken system (Diabetes, cancer, leukemia, genetic blood kidney failure) , locations infection risk factors. Through the, collected analyzed through application descriptive inferential statistical analysis Most aged 44 years, 310 (62%) them males, 190(38%) female, 346(69.2%) from urban residence, 227(45.4%) not working, most married 309(61.8%).
