The paper presents natural and cultural historical values rarities of the Tara Na?tional Park, whose significance in ecosystem terms exceeds national borders. Special emphasis is placed on forest ecosystems, state which shown through a series elements. Starting from current forests, one hand, functionally optimal state, other general special management objectives dominated by protective component are defined. All equal importance and, mainly, long-term character.
