چکیده
The rapid development of the online food-delivery industry, has led to not only increases in number crowd-sourced shared service drivers on our roads, but also growing urban traffic safety management concerns. This study investigates decision-making behaviors that exist between delivery drivers, their platform and potential impact safety. Using evolutionary game theory, stakeholder involving within industry were analyzed. From analysis, several behavioral influencers identified, including penalties for violations, opportunity cost complying with rules, costs associated risk strict approaches, reputation incentives, related being punished, probability compliance adopting a approach by platform. Our demonstrates stabilization strategies used food differ when types government control measures differ. When takes more aggressive regulation control, rules adoption enforcement are stability available platforms. As part strategy, appropriate compensation or incentive should be provided distribution Furthermore, fines given violations increased create safer road environment fewer accidents drivers. • review promotes management. discussed. concluded. Uncertainty in Crowd Data Sourcing Under Structural Constraints
Applications extracting data from crowdsourcing platforms must deal with the uncertainty of crowd answers in two different ways: first, by deriving estimates of the correct value from the answers; second, by choosing crowd questions whose answers are expected to minimize this uncertainty relative to the overall data collection goal. Such problems are already challenging when we assume that ques...
متن کاملCrowd Sourcing Web Service Annotations
Web service annotation is of crucial importance to enable efficient search and discovery of such services, especially for those that are REST based. However, the process of annotating such services has several drawbacks, whether automated or not. Automated processes are quite inaccurate and do not in general provide quality annotations. Manual processes are very expensive, both in time, effort ...
متن کاملCrowd Sourcing and Prediction Markets
We introduce our work on the use of prediction markets as a tool for mining knowledge from within an enterprise (i.e., Nokia Corporation). Various companies – including Google, HP, and Yahoo – have experimented with internal prediction market services, testing its utility for tapping knowledge distributed and nascent within their organization. We are also exploring the use of this tool for capt...
متن کاملCrowd-sourcing Thermal (dis)Comfort
This paper details our work towards designing a system for crowd-sourcing responses on thermal comfort in naturally ventilated office buildings. We provide preliminary qualitative findings on the deployment of this system. Specifically, we explore the different human factors that led to our system being used as something akin to a digital complaints box and how we intend to adapt and leverage t...
متن کاملUsing Expertise for Crowd-Sourcing
In this paper, we examine whether the use of expertise ratings can help crowd-sourcing systems. We show, using simulations, that a crowd-sourcing system based in social navigation works better when users’ expertise levels are taken into account.
