Fault Tree (FT) analysis is not only the most common technique used in engineering practice for estimation of system reliability, but also a key tool shared between designers, analysts, and regulators safe operation licensing purposes. In spite its long lasting success, traditional FT presents significant limitations modeling wide range features frequently encountered modern systems.
