چکیده
The aim of this study was to identify factors that affect the treatment duration and predict forced eruption in impacted maxillary canines using panoramic radiographs cone-beam computed tomography. This retrospective performed by reviewing medical records 73 patients (93 canines) from age 8 18 years who were treated with surgical orthodontic interventions on January 2012 December 2020 Ajou University Dental Hospital. Stepwise multiple regression analysis showed distance between canine cusp tip occlusal plane, mesio-distal location, bucco-palatal patient’s age, use rapid palatal expansion are significant regard eruption. There a statistically correlation angulation axis plane unilateral or bilateral impaction. It can be concluded could shorter when is closer located lateral incisor area, buccal middle, patient younger uses expansion.

A relationship between the duration of orthodontic treatment and the exact position of palatally impacted canines before treatment was studied in panoramic radiographs (OPG). Material and Method: Sixty-seven palatally impacted canines were measured in 54 OPGs prior to treatment. The measured parameters were: vertical distance of the canine crown tip to the occlusal plane, inclination of palatal...
