چکیده

Abstract Predicting formation damage in cased-hole and open-hole completion wells is of high importance. This especially relevant when the caused by reservoir drill-in fluids hence being well-bore induced. Cake filter removal has proven to be a good approach estimate induced evaluate fluids’ performance. We present an experimental methodology cake removal, which could achieved during well's initial production. An improved setup, ones presented literature, been developed enhance data quality. A twofold was used for setup design, first, it can integrated with devices static/dynamic filter-cake. Second, simulate more realistic cases (field related) adjusting experiment parameters. Hence, replicate expected drawdown pressure as well corresponding flow rate studied reservoir. Three key indicators directly related filter-cake were evaluators this work. Lift-off pressure, internal external cakes efficiency. fluid systems studied, two polymer-based one potassium carbonate. Results show that required initiate collapsing process not significant. Polymer-based drilling showed better performance terms cleaning efficiency comparing Moreover, we observed filtrate volume no clear relation degree residual damage.

Preliminary Experimental Analysis of Reservoir Computing Approach for Balance Assessment

Evaluation of balance stability in elderly people is of prominent relevance in the field of health monitoring. Recently, the use of Wii Balance Board has been proposed as valid alternative to clinical balance tests, such as the widely used Berg Balance Scale (BBS) test, allowing to measure and analyze static features such as the duration or the speed of assessment of patients’ center of pressur...

Modeling Critical Flow through Choke for a Gas-condensate Reservoir Based on Drill Stem Test Data

Gas-condensate reservoirs contain hydrocarbon fluids with characteristics between oil and gas reservoirs and a high gas-liquid ratio. Due to the large gas-liquid ratio, wellhead choke calculations using the empirical equations such as Gilbert may contain considerable error. In this study, using drill stem test (DST) data of a gas-condensate reservoir, coefficients of Gilbert equation was modifi...

Phylogenetic analysis of SIV derived from mandrill and drill.

SIVmnd was isolated from mandrills in Gabon in 1989 soon after the existence of simian counterparts of HIV such as SIVmac and SIVagm was known. Since then the SIVmnd has been long considered as an independent SIV lineage and the natural host is the mandrill. However this initial finding turned out to be more complex by the recent finding of new SIV isolated from mandrills living in northern man...
