چکیده

Patients with naive CHC were included in the study. All of patients genotype 1b and all them treated pegylated interferon ribavirin combined. 43 people patient group control group. Of both groups, 23 male 20 female. The mean age was 49.54±13.02, 47.98±14.1. Serum alanine aminotransferase (ALT), TNF-alpha, TGF-beta, IL-10 values studied groups. To measure TGF-beta values, 10 cc venous blood taken into biochemistry tubes containing paraffin. Blood centrifuged at 5000 rpm for 5 minutes. These procedures carried out within 1 hour. After centrifugation, serums placed Eppendorf tube stored a deep freezer -80 degrees until study day. cytokine levels measured by ELISA method according to kit procedures. Evaluation of relationship between the level of inflammatory cytokines Interleukin-10 and tumor necrosis factor-alpha with virologic response to treatment in patients with HIV

Background: Despite the considerable advances in acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS) treatment and management, finding the cure for this disease has been hindered by emerging challenges such as virus resistance and treatment failures. The purpose of this study is to compare the cytokine profiles of patients with successful treatment and patients with unsuccessful treatment to gain a bette...

Ethnic differences in polymorphisms of tumor necrosis factor-alpha, interleukin-10, and transforming growth factor-beta1 genes in patients with chronic hepatitis C virus infection.

Ethnic differences in the outcome of hepatitis C have been described. Our aim was to investigate ethnic differences in the distribution of genotypes associated with polymorphisms of the tumor necrosis factor-alpha promoter, interleukin-10 promoter, and transforming growth factor-beta1 leader sequence in patients with hepatitis C. Genomic DNA was obtained from 71 Egyptians and 67 Caucasians (hep...

High serum interleukin-10 and tumor necrosis factor alpha levels in chronic paracoccidioidomycosis.

In patients with chronic paracoccidioidomycosis (n = 10), levels of tumor necrosis factor alpha, interleukin-10, and interleukin-2 in serum, measured by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (in picograms per milliliter, as mean +/- standard error of the mean), were higher than in normal controls (n = 8): 186 +/- 40 versus 40 +/- 7 (P < 0.05), 203 +/- 95 versus 20 +/- 8 (P = 0.001), and 96.3 +/- 78...

Evaluation of Tumor Necrosis Factor Alpha Polymorphism Frequencies in Endometriosis

Background The pro-inflammatory cytokine, tumor necrosis factor-alpha (TNF-α), is a pathogenic element for a number of disorders. Previous studies have reported that the -1031 T/C and -238 G/A polymorphisms in the promoter region of the TNF-α gene are important factors in reproductive-related disorders. One of the most common gynecological diseases of women during the reproductive years is endo...

Relationship between serum alanine aminotransferase levels and liver histology in chronic hepatitis C-infected patients.

BACKGROUND The efficacy of serum alanine aminotransferase (ALT) levels in predicting the severity of hepatitis C virus (HCV) infection is unclear. OBJECTIVE To compare histologic scoring of liver pathology in patients with chronic HCV infection with normal or elevated serum ALT. METHODS Liver biopsies were performed in patients with HCV infection and either normal (n=40) or elevated (n=76) ...
