Ethical clarity in clinical approaches to rabies prevention in re-exposure cases

The lack of adherence to the recommended rabies post-exposure prophylaxis guidelines by physicians during encounters with cases animal bite re-exposure results in enormous avoidable economic costs, wastage scarce resources, and is a significant but neglected health concern. challenges encountered managing arise from deficiencies existing system reflect an overlooked largely unreported ethical dilemma. Healthcare providers demands arising this situation generally tend uphold principle non-maleficence while overlooking claims distributive justice patient autonomy.
