چکیده

Introduction Single-port access (SPA) laparoscopy requires only one incision, unlike conventional laparoscopy. However, its umbilical incision is larger than that of and can be vulnerable to postoperative pain. This study aimed evaluate whether simultaneous use a continuous wound infiltration (CWI) system intravenous patient-controlled analgesia (IV PCA) effectively decreases surgical site pain in patients who underwent SPA due gynecologic adnexal disease. Methods A total 371 received IV PCA or CWI was retrospectively reviewed (combined group [CWI + PCA, n = 159] vs. [IV only, 212]). To management, the numeric rating scale (NRS) score after surgery, amount fentanyl administered via additional killer consumption were collected. Effect of laparoscopy by single-port endoscopic access in benign adnexal surgery: study protocol for a randomized controlled trial

BACKGROUND Laparoscopic surgery has become the preferred surgical approach due to a reduction in postoperative pain, better recovery, shorter hospitalization, and improved esthetic outcomes. Laparoscopic surgery with single-port laparoscopy (SPL) is a laparoscopic surgery technique that is based on making a single parietal incision using a single trocar specifically designed to allow introducti...
