Effect of Transplanting Date on Agronomic and Grain Quality Traits Using Early-Maturing Rice Varieties

This study aimed to investigate how transplanting date affects the agronomic and grain quality traits of two early-maturing rice varieties. The experiment was conducted in research field Chungnam Agricultural Research Extension Services South Korea materials were transplanted at intervals approximately 15 days from 16 April July 2019 2020. Results showed that varied according earlier resulted a longer period heading (DTH). spikelet number m−2 highly correlated with milled yield (r = 0.963 ** for Jinbuol, r 0.909 Yeoreumi) it significantly decreased as delayed, which leading lower yield. mean temperature during filling stage had negative correlation head rate (r2 0.825 r2 0.803 protein content 0.777 0.833 Yeoreumi). Therefore, increasing can lead higher avoiding dates on 17 improve appearance traits. As result, is suggested early advantageous increase rice.
