چکیده
Elucidating the effect of soil moisture on adaptation dominant plants in coastal wetlands is important for predicting evolution vegetation region. In this paper, Tamarix chinensis , a species Yellow River Delta, was used as object to study changes its growth and physiological parameters with increasing salinity under different conditions (normal watering, persistent drought waterlogging). Different salt stress (2‰, 5‰, 8‰, 12‰, 16‰, 20‰) using pot experiments also reveal mechanism tolerance. The results showed that relative rate between 5‰-8‰ largest, significantly inhibited above 20‰. Among conditions, difference normal watering were nonsignificant, while both lower than those waterlogging. With salinity, water content total chlorophyll decreased, cell membrane permeability (malondialdehyde), sodium ion, osmoregulatory substances (proline, soluble protein), protective enzyme activity (SOD) increased, non-structural carbohydrates (NSC) not significant. Compared waterlogging, had lowest leaf content, ions, highest permeability, activity. treatment time, increased more NSC decreased drought. Correlation analysis relationships malondialdehyde various conditions. Under drough, positively correlated conductivity, superoxide dismutase, proline, protein sugar. Total key indicator reflecting waterlogging tolerance T. damage summary, has strong tolerance, but can have serious impacts survival.

Fractal features of soil particle size distribution in newly formed wetlands in the Yellow River Delta
The characteristic of particle size distribution (PSD) in the newly formed wetlands in coast has seldom been studied. We applied fractal-scaling theory in assessing soil particle size distribution (PSD) features of newly formed wetlands in the Yellow River Delta (YRD), China. The singular fractal dimensions (D) values ranged from 1.82 to 1.90, the capacity dimension (D0) values ranged from 0.84...
متن کاملSoil organic carbon of degraded wetlands treated with freshwater in the Yellow River Delta, China.
Supplying freshwater is one of the important methods to help restore degraded wetlands. Changes in soil properties and plant community biomass were evaluated by comparing sites with freshwater treatment versus reference sites following freshwater addition to wetlands of the Yellow River Delta for 7 years. The results indicated that soil organic carbon (SOC) was significantly increased in all we...
متن کاملChanges of Soil Particle Size Distribution in Tidal Flats in the Yellow River Delta
BACKGROUND The tidal flat is one of the important components of coastal wetland systems in the Yellow River Delta (YRD). It can stabilize shorelines and protect coastal biodiversity. The erosion risk in tidal flats in coastal wetlands was seldom been studied. Characterizing changes of soil particle size distribution (PSD) is an important way to quantity soil erosion in tidal flats. METHOD/PRI...

Groundwater is the main water resource for plant growth and development in the saline soil of the Yellow River Delta in China. To investigate the variabilities and distributions of soil water and salt contents at various groundwater level (GL), soil columns with planting Tamarix chinensis Lour were established at six different GL. The results demonstrated the following: With increasing GL, the ...
