Earth observation for exposome mapping of Germany: analyzing environmental factors relevant to non-communicable diseases

چکیده

• Human health is influenced by the exposome – exposure to environmental factors. Earth Observation a powerful tool map this at local national scale. Mapped cumulative impact relevant myocardial infarctions. Using same methodology for other non-communicable diseases, NCDs, feasible. Exposure “high” “very high” 13 % of nation’s built-up areas. Non-communicable diseases NCDs (e.g., asthma, cancer, or diabetes) are major concern society and medicine. According World Health Organization, responsible > 70 global premature deaths. Apart from increasing mortality, these strain one’s immune system which leads higher susceptibility transmittable diseases. NCD-susceptibility depends on genome (genetic predisposition), behavior (lifestyle), person. The composition parameters such as air pollution, noise, extreme temperatures, surrounding greenness. data, majority factors making up can be monitored over long periods time high resolution with nearly coverage. Still, maps products communicating NCD risk not widely available. In study, we utilize eight land surface datasets (distance green spaces, distance blue temperature, noise industry, well road, rail, traffic, light pollution) two pollution (PM 2.5 NO 2 ) health-relevant exposure. We use an established approach incorporate exposure-response relationships scientific literature environments that public complete area Germany. present results infarction risk. transferable areas interest. context burden ongoing change, supplies findings

Mapping Activity Diagram to Petri Net: Application of Markov Theory for Analyzing Non-Functional Parameters

The quality of an architectural design of a software system has a great influence on achieving non-functional requirements of a system. A regular software development project is often influenced by non-functional factors such as the customers' expectations about the performance and reliability of the software as well as the reduction of underlying risks. The evaluation of non-functional paramet...

Association of Exposure to Fine Particulate Matter and Risk Factors of Non-Communicable Diseases in Children and Adolescents

Background: Risk factors of non-communicable disease (NCD) origin from early life, and exposure to environmental pollutant may be a predisposing factor. This study aimed to investigate the association of air quality index (AQI) and fine particulate matter (PM2.5) with some NCD risk factors in a sample of Iranian children and adolescents. Materials and Methods: This cross-sectional study was con...
