Gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW) uses argon gas as a protective in the process. Argon cylinders weigh 100 kg, making it difficult to mobilize large quantities when work is at certain height. Therefore necessary create storage area that able accommodate and withstand load of their contents can be mobilized In order get suitable area, design has been carried out, which includes calculating strength frame, determining material lifting lug, connection lug hollow steel. The rack used SS400 type, compressive stress occurs due force acting on iron 91.124 MPa received by base plate 127.5 MPa, while allowable for 152 MPa. 33,866.6 N, tensile 76.88 so declared safe use.
