Deciphering the Nature of X(3872) in Heavy Ion Collisions

چکیده
Exploring the nature of exotic multiquark candidates such as X(3872) plays a pivotal role in understanding quantum chromodynamics (QCD). Despite significant efforts, consensus on their internal structures is still lacking. As prime example, it remains pressing open question to decipher state between two popular configurations: loose hadronic molecule or compact tetraquark. We demonstrate novel approach help address this problem by studying production heavy ion collisions, where hot fireball with ample light well charm (anti-)quarks available for producing exotics. Adopting multiphase transport model (AMPT) describing collisions and implementing appropriate mechanism either tetraquark picture, we compute compare series observables Pb-Pb at Large Hadron Collider. find volume crucial role, leading 2-order-of-magnitude difference yield markedly different centrality dependence molecules tetraquarks, thus offering unique opportunity distinguishing scenarios. also make first prediction elliptic flow coefficient be tested future experimental measurements.

متن کاملDileptons in Heavy-Ion Collisions
Due to their penetrating nature, dileptons are a valuable probe for the properties of the hot and/or dense medium created in relativistic heavy-ion collisions. Dilepton invariant-mass spectra provide direct access to the properties of the electromagnetic current-correlation function in strongly interacting matter. In this paper an overview is given of our current theoretical understanding of th...

Dileptons provide direct observables of the electromagnetic currentcurrent correlator in the hot and/or dense medium formed in heavy-ion collisions. In this article an overview is given about the status of the theoretical understanding of the dilepton phenomenology in heavy-ion collisions from studies of the in-medium properties of hadrons and partons within many-body theory and about connectio...
متن کاملThe Freezeout Parameters in Heavy-Ion Collisions
It is shown that the freezeout parameters estimated in heavy-ion collisions all have the common property that the entropy density s normalized to T 3 is constant. The value of s/T 3 has been taken from lattice QCD simulations at zero baryo-chemical potential μB and assumed to remain constant at finite μB in a hadron resonance gas model. This implies that the hadronic matter in rest frame of pro...
متن کاملHeavy ion collisions and cosmology
There are interesting parallels between the physics of heavy ion collisions and cosmology. Both systems are out-ofequilibrium and relativistic fluid dynamics plays an important role for their theoretical description. From a comparison one can draw interesting conclusions for both sides. For heavy ion physics it could be rewarding to attempt a theoretical description of fluid perturbations simil...
