As technology advances, it gives rise to various modes of child sexual abuse. Forms abuse children through can be categorized into several categories, including obscenity, approaching for purposes, chat, extortion, and online harassment. The purpose this study was identify the factors causing occurrence cyber grooming crimes against as well modus operandi perpetrators in children. empirical normative technique is a type research used by author. primary data source interview obtained directly at Bantul Class IIB Detention Centre. This employs sociological legal approach methods such conceptual approaches, statutory case-based approaches. Interviews with offenders analysis using qualitative are among collect data. Factors criminals commit obtaining perpetrator satisfaction, environmental influences perpetrator's mindset, low level knowledge understanding social media use, opportunity, economy. includes ease accessibility, relationship building, manipulation, content, risk management. Prisoner institutions, detention centres or prisons, expected always provide personality coaching (such daily recitations, Qur'an reading, ablution procedures, proper prayers) independence skills education programs job guidance) so that do not their again future.
