چکیده

The presented publication analyzes Ukrainian and foreign publications regarding the current principles of biogeochemical regionalization. Traditional domestic approaches to landscape zoning are described, namely according Oleksandr Vinogradov Victor Kovalskyi. With traditional approach, regionalization is based on special biosphere taxa various orders: regions (the first order taxa), subregions second provinces third taxa). Within this frame, article provides a detailed description concept provinces. main zones Ukraine which currently carved out methods regionalization: Forest-Marsh zone (occupies 19% territory), Forest-Steppe 34% Northern Southern Steppe 40% Forest-Meadow 7% territory). In separate section, author outlines regionalization, widely used in developed countries, particularly USA, China, European countries. These can be combined into three groups, each has its characteristics: pattern analysis (structural approach), spatially explicit analysis, extrapolation method. all these methods, attention paid choice priori discrete classification scheme. Two general types field sampling designs commonly capitalize continuous variation controls over processes: first, one or more transects arrayed along major gradients, conducted at regular random intervals; type design for utilize grid scheme that permits independent dependent variables. final part article, proposes ways implement modern biogeochemistry (regional) scale implementation principle using empirical modeling hydrogeochemical data. importance experience scientists connection with Ukraine's involvement Union's LIFE environmental protection program was emphasized.

Current Approaches to Change Blindness

Across saccades, blinks, blank screens, movie cuts, and other interruptions, observers fail to detect substantial changes to the visual details of objects and scenes. This inability to spot changes (“change blindness”) is the focus of this special issue of Visual Cognition . This introductory paper briefly reviews recent studies of change blindness, noting the relation of these findings to earl...

Current approaches to detecting intrusions

Before the flourishing of the Internet, computers were limited to the walls of the organization where computers were linked to each other but had little contact with computer systems outside. Now, we can reach farther, and can expose and link our computers to the entire world; however, such capabilities have made our privacy and assets vulnerable to cyber space attackers. Fortunately, attacks c...
