The influence of humic substances (HS) formulations derived from sedimentary and compost sources was studied on plant growth at cell level chlorophyll retention during accelerated senescence leaf tissue. direct effect HS expansion using cucumber radish cotyledon test. hypocotyl elongation test used to study the elongation. Chlorophyll pigment in excised tissue incubated dark with high temperature assessed senescence. Explant tissues were directly solutions concentration recommended for foliar application crop plants. showed significant variations their bio-stimulatory effects. Formulations found superior terms inducing a stimulatory maintaining stimulated delayed degradation lesser extent compared compost. However, this not effective differed significantly between that evaluated.
