چکیده

Hemorrhagic Septicemia (HS) caused by Pasteurella multocida is an economically significant disease of bovines that instigates high monetary losses due to unexpected mortality animals in emerging countries like Pakistan. Similarly Black Quarter (BQ) Clostridium chauvoei also acute infectious ailment cattle and buffaloes which severe inflammation ofskeletal cardiac muscles, systemic toxicity a occurs. The only way prevent both diseases effective long lasting vaccination programme. Four HS+BQ combo vaccines adjuvanted with four different adjuvants were prepared. Two prepared addition two oil i.e Montanide ISA-50V-2 Eolane-170 while one vaccine was gel fourth alum. bacterial dry weight P. adjusted 2 mg/0.75 mL the for Cl. set at 2.5 mL. dose all 3 /animal. groups rabbits having five each group selected Veterinary Research Institute, Lahore. From inoculated based containing ISA-50 V2 as adjuvant other adjuvant. Third vaccinated rabbit vaccin All rate 1mL / rabbit. Rabbits again same booster after 27 days. Indirect HemAgglutination test conducted 141 days intervals on serum samples groups. results showed have higher antibody titers compared alum against HS disease.

Development of OMP based indirect ELISA to gauge the antibody titers in bovines against Pasteurella multocida

Pasteurella multocida (P. multocida) is an important pathogen of various domestic animals. The outer membrane proteins (OMPs) play a major role in pathogenesis and immunogenicity of P. multocida. The aim of the study was to develop indirect enzyme linked immuno sorbant assay (ELISA) based on OMPs to ascertain the antibody titers in animals post-infection or to gauge the potency of vaccine. The ...

A monoclonal antibody against a Pasteurella multocida outer membrane protein protects rabbits and mice against pasteurellosis.

Monoclonal antibodies (MAbs) directed against the 37.5-kDa outer membrane protein were produced by fusing myeloma cells with spleen cells obtained from mice immunized with a pathogenic strain of Pasteurella multocida isolated from a rabbit. Desirable MAbs were selected by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay, whole-cell radioimmunoprecipitation (WC-RIP), and Western blot (immunoblot) analysis. WC-...

Evaluation of three oil-adjuvant vaccines against Pasteurella multocida in buffalo calves.

Three oil-adjuvant vaccines of Pasteurella multocida 6:B were evaluated with respect to the level and duration of the humoral immune response produced in buffalo calves. Preparation 1 was a water-in-oil emulsion containing Marcol 52, Montanide 888 and antigen at a ratio of 6:1:3. Preparation 2 was a double emulsion containing Marcol 52, Arlacel A and Tween 80 in addition to antigen. Preparation...

Immune efficacy of OmpH and OmpA DNA vaccines against avian Pasteurella multocida

Avian Pasteurella multocida is an agent of fowl cholera. The protective effect achieved through orthodoxvaccines is not ideal. The research on novel vaccines against avian Pasteurella multocida is imperative. Inthis study, the genes encoding outer membrane protein H and A (OmpH and OmpA) were cloned into theeukaryotic expression vector pcDNA3.1(+) and the recombinant plasmids, namely DNA vaccin...

Comparative study of antibody titers produced against two BHK rabies vaccines in field trial experimental condition in dogs by RFFIT

Rabies is acutely fatal encephalitis caused by a neurotropic virus. This virus belongs to the family ofRhabdoviridae and genus of Lyssavirus. The virus is almost always transmitted to human through infectedmammalian saliva. Rabies is inoculated to a wound by an infected animal bite. Since infection is establishedin the CNS, the outcome is almost always fatal. According to the outstanding role o...
