Caesarean Section Characteristics Based on Robson Classification at Sanglah Hospital

Background: Improving maternal and child health can be achieved through programs aimed at reducing mortality rate (MMR) infant (IMR). Apart from going a normal delivery, labor also done by abdominal surgery/ cesarean section (CS). A safe timely Cesarean Section (CS) remains major challenge in countries with high MMR, which poses new challenges to these being able minimize CS without clinical indication. This study aims determine the rates characteristics of patients underwent CS, indications as well based on Robson's classification system. Methods: retrospective descriptive delivery cases Sanglah General Hospital Denpasar was conducted period 1stJanuary 2018 - 31st December 2018. Results: From 1121 deliveries 2018, that were 34.3%. As many 28.1% age 25-29 years. The 31.9% subjects primigravida, gestational term around 66%. majority samples 73.2% did not have history previous CS. Using Robson criteria, we found biggest contribution for group 10 (23.38%), then 5 (15.84%) 2 (13.51%). Conclusion: Around 385 obtained total (34.3%). highest years, mothers first pregnancy (primigravida), most term, (23.38%).
