Behavior of the AB52 dye degradation in liquid medium by different electrical power non-thermal plasma at atmospheric pressure

چکیده

The degradation of Acid Black 52 (AB52) dye in a liquid medium derived from exposure to non-thermal plasma air at atmospheric pressure is quantified experimentally. changes observed the dilution are measured and compared as function electrical power generation (15.0 W, 22.5 30.0 45.0 W), well time (two hundred minutes per power). Dye for each was established by comparing results UV / VIS spectrophotometry measurements (absorbance, concentration, percentage degradation), pH, COD, TOC. In addition, toxicity change determined performing bioassays using Lactuca sativa lettuce seeds. variables show following specific mathematical behaviors: Logarithmic (Temperature, TOC, pH), potential (COD), linear (Absorbance). Obtained showed that increase depends directly on plasma. maximum obtained samples analyzed end experiments corresponds is, higher power, degradation.

Production of TEMPO by O atoms in atmospheric pressure non-thermal plasma–liquid interactions

Non-thermal atmospheric pressure plasmas enable plasma treatment of surfaces without requiring a low-pressure environment. These plasmas are currently of interest for, among other things, their biomedical applications, many of which are enabled by production of reactive oxygen and nitrogen species (RONS). Plasma–liquid interactions are especially important due to the high amounts of water in bi...

Effect of non-thermal atmospheric pressure plasma on MDA-MB-231 breast cancer cells

Cold atmospheric plasma (CAP) has received great attention due to its noteworthy ability, and has also been widely studied over few decades in physics, biology and medicine. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the cold atmospheric pressure plasma effects on the proliferation of breast cancer cells. MDA-MB-231 was used for this experiment. MDA-MB-231 cells were cultured in 24-well plate and...

Non-Thermal Atmospheric-Pressure Plasma Possible Application in Wound Healing

Non-thermal atmospheric-pressure plasma, also named cold plasma, is defined as a partly ionized gas. Therefore, it cannot be equated with plasma from blood; it is not biological in nature. Non-thermal atmospheric-pressure plasma is a new innovative approach in medicine not only for the treatment of wounds, but with a wide-range of other applications, as e.g. topical treatment of other skin dise...
