A semianalytical model is introduced to assess rolling contact fatigue problems in railway applications. The constitutive law based on the nonlinear kinematic and isotropic hardening of Chaboche–Lemaitre, which allows cyclic elastoplastic strain under surface be evaluated. much higher computational effectiveness comparison with finite element (FE) analyses quantified.
