Abstract The continued price increase in food commodities has long been a concern to academia and policymakers because of its substantial impact on poor consumers. Existing literature concentrated the cost micronutrient-dense starchy staple foods rise different commodities. Yet, long-term growth gap between have not given much attention. paper aimed estimate trends prices volatility staples identify factors that sustained developing countries.
