Adaptive Unsaturated Bistable Stochastic Resonance Multi-Frequency Signals Detection Based on Preprocessing

Stochastic resonance (SR) has been widely used for extracting single-frequency weak periodic signals. For multi-frequency signals, empirical mode decomposition (EMD) can adaptively decompose the complex signal, but this method also suffers from mixing, which affects accuracy of detection. SR convert part noise energy into signal energy, compensates defects EMD. According to advantages and EMD, we constructed a signals detection using adaptive unsaturated bistable based on EMD (EMD-AUBSR). In study, avoid inherent saturation by reconstructing potential function improve ability adding preprocessing element. strong background noise, experimental results show that proposed effectively detect decrease aliasing, whereas alone cannot.
