A triboelectric vibration sensor for detecting loose bolts in automobile

چکیده
Recently, the application of flexible sensors in mechanical equipment has attracted widespread attention. However, design vibration sensor materials and structures for complex environments still faces challenges. Hence, we proposed an annular structure CCTO/PDMS-based triboelectric nanogenerator (CP-TENG) as self-powered automotive bolt tightness sensor. Due to high dielectric properties CCTO/PDMS film, CP-TENG device can obtain electrical output performance achieve sensitivity sensing. Through design, devices be integrated into fittings with good structural compatibility. The voltage current monitor different accelerations borne by bolts from 9 60 m/s2. Moreover, installing on gasket, also looseness early warning safety status components. This research promote development field monitoring.

Wireless sensor networks for active vibration control in automobile structures
Wireless sensor networks (WSNs) are nowadays widely used in monitoring and tracking applications. This paper presents the feasibility of using WSNs in active vibration control strategies. The method employed here involves active-structural acoustic control using piezoelectric sensors distributed on a car structure. This system aims at being merged with a WSN whose head node collects data and pr...
متن کاملPhased Arrays for Detecting Cracking in Bolts
Phased arrays can be used for detecting cracking (and other defects) in high tensile bolts. The technique uses a “fingerprinting” approach to the bolts. In contrast to current code procedures where an operator manually scans a normal beam probe over a bolt and interprets the results, this phased array technique uses an S-scan and a mechanized scanner. Specifically, the phased array probe is mou...

متن کاملHarmonic-resonator-based triboelectric nanogenerator as a sustainable power source and a self-powered active vibration sensor.
A harmonic-resonator-based triboelectric nanogenerator (TENG) is presented as a sustainable power source and an active vibration sensor. It can effectively respond to vibration frequencies ranging from 2 to 200 Hz with a considerably wide working bandwidth of 13.4 Hz. This work not only presents a new principle in the field of vibration energy harvesting but also greatly expands the applicabili...
متن کاملPrediction of Sound and Vibration in a Virtual Automobile
MATERIALS REFERENCE ISSUE Ability to both feel and hear the results of engineering decisions via a “virtual car” – simultaneous engineering – can significantly shorten vehicle development time. Sound quality and discrete vibration at the driver’s position may be predicted and ‘driven’ before the first prototype is built. Although sound quality cannot yet be predicted in an unknown chassis, the ...
