A New Method for Improving Inverse Finite Element Method Material Characterization for the Mooney–Rivlin Material Model through Constrained Optimization

چکیده
The inverse finite element method is a technique that can be used for material model parameter characterization. literature shows this approach may get caught in the local minima of design space. These minimum solutions often fit test data with small errors and are mistaken optimal solution. problem these sub-optimal becomes apparent when applied to different loading conditions where significant witnessed. research paper presents new resolves issue Mooney–Rivlin builds on previous flat planes, referred as hyperplanes, map error functions, isolating unique alternatively uses constrained optimization approach, utilizing equality constraints evaluate functions. As result, space’s curvature taken into account, which significantly reduces amount variation between predicted parameters from maximum 1.934% down 0.1882% results presented here. study demonstrate not only isolates solution but also drastically parameters. concludes characterization contributes existing literature.
