چکیده

Background: Benzoxazole-containing ligands find many applications both in medicinal chemistry, catalysis and fluorescence chemosensing. macrocycles could be therefore a good strategy to achieve stable selective fluorescent complexes with suitable metal ions. In this work, the synthesis, binding, photochemical properties of new ligand (L) are reported. L is cyclophane macrocycle containing 1,3-bis(benzo[d]oxazol-2-yl)phenyl (BBzB) fluorophore an aliphatic tetra-amine chain form macrocyclic skeleton. Methods: Spectrophotometric spectrofluorimetric measurements, 1H NMR analysis, DFT calculations were performed. Results: behaves as PET-mediated chemosensor, being emissive at 390 nm acidic pH non-emissive basic pH. The chemosensor able detect Zn2+ Cd2+ aqueous medium (acetonitrile–water, 4:1 v/v) neutral through CHEF effect upon ion coordination. Paramagnetic ions (Cu2+) heavy atoms (Pb2+, Hg2+) resulted quenching or very low emission. Conclusions: was revealed PET-regulated for medium, bind up two one cations, respectively. molecule showed shifted emission towards visible region compared similar systems, suggesting co-planar conformation aromatic fragment All these data supported by experimental measurements theoretical calculations.

Rational design of a macrocyclic-based chemosensor for anions.

A macrocyclic-based fluorescence chemosensor has been designed and synthesized from the reaction of dansyl chloride and a hexaaminomacrocycle containing four secondary and two tertiary amines. The new chemosensor has been examined for its binding ability toward phosphate, sulfate, nitrate, iodide, bromide, chloride, and fluoride by fluorescence spectroscopy in DMSO. The results indicate that th...

A novel di-triazole based peptide as a highly sensitive and selective fluorescent chemosensor for Zn2+ ions.

A di-triazole based peptide has been synthesised by copper catalyzed Huisgen cycloaddition. Fluorescence intensity is enhanced selectively in the presence of Zn(2+), which is ascribed to reversal of photoelectron transfer. Compound 7 was found to self-assemble in the presence of Zn(ClO(4))(2) in an exclusive 2:1 ratio, which is supported by (1)H NMR titration and mass spectral data. The fluores...

A Novel Nanofibrous Film Chemosensor for Highly Selective and Sensitive Optical Signaling of Zn2+

A novel nanofibrous film chemosensor was fabricated by copolymerization and electrospinning, which exhibited signaling behaviors for Zn. Upon addition of Zn, the sensor film exhibited obvious fluorescence enhancement in a linear fashion. Owing to a larger surface area and high permeability, the selectivity and sensitivity of the nanofibrous film for Zn were satisfactory and achieving a limit of...
