A D-shaped elliptical hollow core fiber SPR sensor

A D-shaped elliptical hollow core fiber surface plasmon resonance (SPR) sensor is proposed and analyzed here using gold titanium oxide (TiO 2 ) layer. The geometry consists of a doped with concentric central air hole. finite element method-based simulation software COMSOL Multiphysics used for numerical analysis. Both TiO layers are optimized. responds over wide range refractive index (RI) from 1.33 to 1.40. average sensitivity obtained the designed 4142.85nm/RIU (RI Unit) whereas that single mode (SMF) only 897.55nm/RIU. So, our gives more than 4 times enhanced proves be potential alternative SMF based low cost, compatible SPR sensors by covering issue suffered sensors.
