چکیده

Objectives: The study used three-dimensional finite element analysis to evaluate the effects of total deformation and Von Mises stresses (VMS) different shaped non-carious cervical lesions (NCCLs) occluso-gingival dimensions (OGD) maxillary premolars when restored with restorative materials. Methods: Maxillary premolar was scanned utilizing 3D-laser scanning produce a 3D digital geometrical model. Six cavities were created three shapes (notch, saucer, mixed), two OGD (1.5mm 3mm). Two 100N oblique forces applied at 11o 45o from vertical axis. data obtained expressed in mm, VMS values recorded. Results: Various tested NCCLs equivalent maximum on restorations. Increasing angle 11º 45º increased about times. increase by 30%. One Bulk Fill came second lowest VMS. Ketacä N100 restoration had longest lifetime. Conclusion: did not affect or VMS, whereas loading type materials influenced stress distribution cavity models premolars.

Stress Distribution in Four Restorative Methods in Endodontically Treated Maxillary Premolar: A 3D Finite Element Analysis

Introduction: the Restoration of endodontically treated teeth is critical, and the Awareness of stresses developed by oblique and vertical forces in restorative methods take a great role in treatment plans. Due to the anatomical shape and inherent form of the stress distribution premolars, could be lost by fractures. Some fractures such as vertical fracture which is probable in...

Finite Element Analysis of Maxillary Central Incisors Restored with Various Post-and-core Applications

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of rigidity of post core systems on stress distribution by the theoretical technique, finite element stress-analysis method. Three-dimensional finite element models simulating an endodontically treated maxillary central incisor restored with a zirconia ceramic crown were prepared and 1.5 mm ferrule height was provided. Each model contained...

Finite element analysis of strength characteristics of various resin based restorative materials in Class V cavities.

This study investigated the strength characteristics of various composites (Tetric Ceram, Tetric Flow, Prisma AP.H, Synergy Duo Shade, Synergy Compact, and Z 100) and compomers (Compoglass, Compoglass F, Dyract AP, F 2000) that were applied in a Class V cavity of a maxillary central incisor. The study was conducted by using a 3-dimensional finite element approach and in the study ansys package ...

Fracture resistance of the buccal cusps of root filled maxillary premolar teeth restored with various techniques.

AIM To compare the cusp fracture resistance of teeth restored with composite resins and two post systems. METHODOLOGY Eighty extracted single-rooted human maxillary premolars were randomly assigned to eight groups (n = 10). Group 1 (control) did not receive any preparation. From groups 2 to 8, the teeth were root filled and mesio-occluso-distal (MOD) cavities were prepared. Group 2 remained u...

Cuspal Movement and Microleakage in Premolar Teeth Restored with Posterior Restorative Materials

BACKGROUND With the increase in various resin-based composites with varying monomeric formulations and fi llers had led to a significant number of problems, and one of such is postoperative pain. Clinician is in a dilemma what to select and what not to. The latest nanocomposite is there for a short while that no individual research is available currently, hence, this study was undertaken. The a...
